Media Headlines Dispute Trump’s Tweet Asserting A $4 Billion Dollar Price Tag For Air Force One, But It Appears The News Media Was Wrong

After US President Elect Donald Trump tweeted to “cancel” the order for new Air Force One planes based on their $4 Billion dollar price tag, some media outlets jumped to dispute it citing a “current” contract with plane manufacturer, Boeing was only for $170 million.

However, when you dig into the details, the current contract appears to be just for phase 1 of the program, a research and information gathering phase. As YouTuber and all around good guy Mark Dice points out in the video below, when one new organization actually did their homework, they finally stated – in contradiction to the headlines – that Trump probably right about the total costs.
